In 1920 the future King Edward VIII known as ‘the digger prince’ travelled half way around the world to pay homage to the Armed Forces of Australia. During this arduous and exhausting visit it was recorded that the Prince took time out and spent several days resting at Borambola.

Tasting Notes
The palate is full and fine with superb mousse. Aromas of vibrate fruit with complex creamy and autolysis characters. The colour is an excellent straw colour wine fine bubble.
Winemakers Notes
Colour: Good youthful pale straw colour
Nose: Exhibiting almonds, toast, nuts and apples
Palate: The crisp apple notes are complimented on the palate by the finesse of the bubbles and the length of flavour

Varietal Composition – 100% estate grown Chardonnay from Borambola NSW. Planted 1995.
