Lilier Lodge Can Assist High Tea

An afternoon of fun, entertainment and great scrumptious food in the spectacular surrounds of Borambola Winery from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday 13th October, 2019.

A complimentary wine as you arrive, with the High Tea catering provided by Lime Leaf Catering. Be entertained by Murrumbidgee Magic Chorus. Be inspired by great speakers - Prof Kerin Fielding and Kerrie Gestier. Enjoy a chat and a cuppa with friends as well as trying your chances with the raffles and lucky door prize.

Tickets cost $50 per person and includes a glass of Sparkling Wine on arrival.

This event celebrates the Foundation of Can Assist 64 years ago in 1955, the Wagga Wagga Can Assist Branch two years ago, and the establishment of Lilier Lodge 15 years ago. Can Assist and Lilier Lodge are both Not for Profit organisations that support people through their journey with cancer, by providing both practical accommodation and financial assistance for everyday expenses. Neither organisation receives government funding and relies heavily on community support.

The High Tea is a major fundraiser for both these organisations. All monies raised stays local.

Can Assist Wagga Wagga Branch assists and supports Wagga people with cancer. Lilier Lodge is an accommodation facility for country people travelling to Wagga for specialist cancer treatment. The Lodge is co-owned by Can Assist and Cancer Council NSW.
