Wishing Well Sauvignon Blanc

The old wishing well at the rear of Borambola homestead still bears the thumb prints of the hands that made its bricks.

Unable to sign their names, the thumbprint identified the convict and determined how much they would be paid for their work. The well was the original water source for the homestead. These artesian waters are rich in mineral flavours and carry some of the characteristics similar to those found in the Wishing Well Sauvignon Blanc.

Tasting Notes
The 2012 Sauvignon Blanc offers intense passion fruit, guava and lime aromas with a hint of herbaceousness.  The palate offers generous fruit flavours supported by crisp acid. The wine shows the potential of Sauvignon Blanc in Tumbarumba.
